New ! - Young scientists support Under auspices of Mgr. Zdenek Roubinek, Mayor of Karlovy Vary. As agreed at the 7th HEC meeting in Kryzowa, this year meeting will take place in a spa location of Karlovy Vary not far from the western Czech border with Germany. Reasonable
train connection
to Karlovy Vary exist from Ústí nad Labem or Děčín, when traveling via Prague (not adviced) a bus connection is recommended.
The meeting facility Poštovní Dvůr is separated from the hotel Alice: the latter will be the place of registration in Karlovy Vary. The meeting fee
will cover accommodation and full board. The planning team is circulating information among all groups that participated at previous HEC events, asking them to soon specify their intent to come or, if feasible, to directly register. The contributions of the traditional and new sponsors are gratefully acknowledged.YOUR QUESTIONS, COMMENTS Our questions: Could you specify how do you plan to reach Karlovy Vary (your train or bus connection)? Would you be interested in a guided visit to a good regional gallery (mostly 19th-20th century Czech art) at the beginning of free afternoon? (We do not know yet whether it will rain that time).
